This privacy policy (“Policy”) describes how airVet, Inc. and its related companies (“Company”) collect, use and share personal and pet-related information of consumer users of the airVet telehealth service and platform, including any Company website (the “Site”) or mobile software application (the “Application”) (collectively, the “Service”).

WHAT WE COLLECT

We get information about you and your pet (collectively, “personal information”) in a range of ways.

Information You Give Us. We collect your‎ name, uploaded photos and content, postal address, email address, phone number, username, password, credit card information, as well as other information you directly give us through the Service. Such information may also include: your pet’s identifying information (including name, breed, age, medical conditions, medications, notes), your pet’s physical and mental health information and medical records, text, pictures, videos, chat logs, and live video conferences between you and your veterinarian.

Information We Get From Others. We may get information about you from other sources. We may add this to information we get from the Service.

Information Automatically Collected. We automatically log information about you and your computer or mobile device. For example, when using the Service, we log your computer operating system type, browser type, browser language, the website you visited before browsing to our Site, pages you viewed, how long you spent on a page, access times and information about your use of and actions on our Site. The Application may also collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device’s unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application.

Cookies. We may log information using "cookies." Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive by a website. We may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer or mobile device until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience on our Site.    This type of information is collected to make the Site and Application more useful to you and to tailor the experience with us to meet your special interests and needs.

If you have an airVet account, you have the ability to review and update certain of your personal information within the Service. You also may close your account by contacting the customer support team and receiving confirmation that your account is no longer active. If you close your account, we will retain certain information associated with your account for analytical purposes and recordkeeping integrity, as well as to prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Use, take actions we deem necessary to protect the integrity of our Service or our users, or take other actions otherwise permitted by law. In addition, if certain information has already been provided to third parties as described in this Policy, retention of that information will be subject to those third parties' policies.

Our marketing emails tell you how to “opt-out.” If you opt out, we may still send you non-marketing emails. Non-marketing emails include emails about your accounts and our business dealings with you.

You can typically remove and reject cookies from our Site with your browser settings. Many browsers are set to accept cookies until you change your settings. SECURITY. We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

ELECTRONIC PAYMENT & CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS. The Service may employ the use of third-party services (e.g. Stripe) for the purpose of facilitating payment for use of the Service. By submitting your payment information, you grant us the right to provide the information to these third parties subject to this Policy.
